Choosing courses of study

Students should apply early – there is usually a deadline for undergraduate applications in January (with an earlier deadline for medical and dental courses). There is not usually a deadline for postgraduate applications, but popular courses will stop accepting applications when they are full.

 

Compare the course entry requirements to the student’s predicted grades to ensure they’re making realistic choices, based on what they are likely to achieve. Have a back-up option in case they don’t quite get the grades predicted.
