Postgraduate application
Postgraduate students do not apply through UCAS but instead they apply directly to the institution of their choice.
Advantages of the postgraduate application process
Applications can be made to more than one university, to increase the chances of being accepted. Some universities allow students to nominate a second course 'in reserve'. There is no restriction on the number of different courses students can apply for in any one year, but student advisers recommend that students draw up a shortlist of 6 to 8 universities.

Our guidance counsellors are Level 7 and 8 (the highest level) qualified professionals, providing graduates with the skills, insights and coaching techniques to effectively support students in their career planning and offer one-to-one guidance conversations that encourage students to explore issues related to their career development. Support offered through careers guidance is completely personalised. Whilst by nature it involves giving advice and information, guidance does not tell students what to do, instead it empowers the students to act for themselves.
